Roosebeck Outfall.
Lots of Common, Blackheads and Herring Gulls, 8 Lesser Black Backs and a single 2nd winter Med Gull
Rampside
A field just behind the church was being ploughed and was heaving with gulls amongst the commoner sp there was the 1st winter with the green/white lettering which was so close I could read numerals on the above the tarsus metal ring but couldn't make out the colour ring. There was also an adult and the 2nd winter that was at Roosebeck.
While watching the gulls I heard an "oi", looked up and there's the farmer "you can come in the field if you want only I'm going to do some lines over the other side of the field", thanks but I'll stay here they're very wary I said, "OK I'll do 3 more lines over here then you can get some more pictures".What a top bloke.
