Gulls, they don't watch themselves.

A Barn Owl hunting on the roadside verge at Newbiggin was a fine start to the day.
North Walney was quiet, offshore

I spent the afternoon watching the Gulls at Rampside again large numbers were feeding in the fields around Page Bank Lane
Loads of Herring, Common and Black Headed Gulls.
3 Med Gulls the 1st w with the green colour ring, the 2nd w with the red colour ring and a 2nd w with no rings at all.
Amongst the gulls were at least 190 Jackdaws, 28 Rooks ,160 Woodpigeon,8 Collared Dove and 4 Stock Dove.

2 Med Gull, an adult and a metal ringed 2nd winter
Also 30 Redwing, 30 Chaffinch, 2 Buzzard and single Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

 The gull roost didn't materialise, the tide times were too late all the birds were far out in the channel out of range.
