For various reasons I haven't been able to get out birding recently, but finally got out for an hour today at Foulney. Lou found the first Wheatear for Furness today and I found the 2nd barely 10 mins later, both were strikingly handsome males.
The Water Pipit was showing well sporting its newly acquired ring (there was an unringed bird yesterday) along with 6 Rock Pipits and apart from this little of note except the usual collection of Geese, Ducks and Waders
