Laugher

I spent what little time I had away from the life spoiler looking for the Laughing Gull that was found near Dalton yesterday (17th).Fortunately it was found early a.m. and when I arrived the Kendal entourage were watching the bird in a field beside the A590 between Lindal and Dalton.
The 1st winter/summer bird was feeding in fields amongst a flock of large gulls and was though distant at times gave quite good views but little opportunity for photos.

                                         My rather feeble efforts.
Not sure who it was that first found this bird but good jarb.

First seen by Alan Mackay, then Colin Raven

Forgot to mention, nice flight shot, note the diagnostic dark tail sides. Scoured the area yesterday, 21st but no joy.
