Little birding done today due to having to go to work. On the way home decided to have a drive around Barrow and do a bit of a swift Swift survey. A bit worrying really, very few birds seen. 12 birds arond the Risedale Rd area was the biggest concentration, there should be more hopefully I was too early in the evening or the birds were feeding elsewhere anyway we'll have a look later in the week.
A 1st summer Med Gull reported from Bardsea Beach today, also heard of a White Stork at Lindal in Furness today on the the 10th of June (good to know the local grapevine is working).
