Great Northern delight

Great Northern diver Urswick tarn.

 Conditions weren’t good for seawatching so had a look around the lanes of Low Furness.The numbers of Chaffinch around the pumpkin fields at Rampside were lower than the last few days

A Yellow-browed Warbler in the willows at Biggar village again this morning.

Lots of Blackbirds on the island today at least 30 birds around Rakes Lane 30 birds were counted coming from one small patch of gorse around Mill Lane and and at least 25 birds behind Walney park on the prom

Numbers must have been in the low hundreds around the centre of the island only 4 Redwing though.
